Monty looks like he's ready.
I'm thinking so! He's hardly tired by the time we get back, and full of energy - rushing across the field, galloping about and energetically running around the bushes following the scent of rabbits. I'm really pleased with it. I'll keep it up for the next three weeks - I'm thinking of wearing a back pack laden down with heavy weights to get myself ready for the portage. I'll fill my knapsack with text books, or water bottles etc...
