When I was taking a bushcraft course with Mors Kochanski, he showed us how to make a Whimmy Diddle. This craft makes us of several cutting techniques, and is a simple way to make a toy for kids. He talked about visiting an Amish collective farm and how the kids was astounded by this simple, but fun piece of engineering.
