Happy New Year everyone! This year I expect to do a lot more camping than I did last year, even if it means going out for weekend hikes and quick canoe trips. My main challenge - how to persuade my lovely wife to go with me...

If I cleraed the woods of all dirt, grubs (creatures with more than four legs), built a solid shelter preferably made of brick with hot and cold running water with a large comfortable bed, and provided access for hair dryer etc Mrs Pablo may well consider coming with me on an excursion. Good luck.

Hey Mungo....Start on a small 2 day trip with your wife that way if she doesn't enjoy it you aren't stuck in the bush for 4 more days. Also maybe go to someplace like Canisbay Lake or Rock lake to one of their canoe in sites that are maybe about a 20 minute paddle. Just a thought :)!
