Final Algonquin Canoe Camping Equipment List

So I am off on my trip tomorrow morning and I have a few things to check before I go... I need to ensure I have the right amount of food, not too much, not too little - scribble grocery list for whatever is outstanding. I also need to update my Outdoors Card with a Fishing License sticker at Canadian Tire after work today.

The final list for both my dad and myself and Monty is below:

Am very envious of you, at point I'll need to learn to Canoe and reach nice places to relax.

How's your little furry friend? Fully recovered?

Great blog. Just started reading it. Did you purify your water? ./Brian Sullivan

Thanks Brian!
Up until my last trip in October, I have only boiled my water, or simply drunk it straight from the lake. This year I bought some Aquatabs Water Purfication Tablets, and they seemed to work pretty well. Just drop one of the tiny tablets into a 1000 mL Nalgene, and you're ready to go. But I've never been affected by Beaver Feaver or aything... I suppose if I were in a mucky lake, without much flow, I would want to filter the water first through a couple of shirts and then add the tablets.

Thanks for visiting!

Hey Mungo,
I also have another blog about Bushcraft. Feel free to check it out. Perhaps you could add it to your links if you like it.
Thanks for the great posts!
BTW I love the random squirrel pic. That's really funny.
Cheers,

Bringing olive oil is kinda odd. What do you use it for? Pasta?
