Our Grass Is Growing

The grass in our backyard is growing and it is very green and dense.







I watched a Mourning Dove land in the grass this morning by the bird feeder and vanish, except for the top of its head.







Now I'm worried that if I go for a walk in the backyard, I will end up tripping over - or stepping on - Mourning Doves, Grey Squirrels, Red Squirrels, Cardinals, Sparrows, Grackles, Woodpeckers and maybe a Beagle.

I will mow the lawn today.
