Videos - Making Fire in Wet and Cold Conditions: Wilderness Survival Skills

These are amazing videos from Hedgehog Leatherworks on how to make fire in wet and cold conditions - useful now that winter has arrived here in Ontario. This guy is a great presenter, I am really impressed. Enjoy!

Hey Mungo,

Thanks for presenting these videos. I agree with your comments on all accounts.

Paul Scheiter sure is a good presenter.

Paul knows his stuff for sure. Have you seen his new knife design from Ontario (Blackbird SK-5)?

Needed that information about 7 years ago in Algonquin. It was the only time in my life that I was not able to make a fire and the temperature during the night dropped enough to freeze the lake we were camped beside.

I had not seen the method displayed in video 3 before. Makes sense. Will have to give it a go sometime soon. Thanks for sharing!
